We are David Klaman and Diem Do, a husband-wife team, who first met at a local San Diego farmers' market when Diem worked for a community development corporation and started a farmers' market to fulfill a need for fresh produce as no grocery store existed in the neighborhood. David worked for an Oceanside farm and became a vendor at the market.  That market only lasted a year, but our partnership has lasted more than two decades.  Since 1997, we have partnered with  community organizations to bring our philosophy of Eat Food Less Traveled and Shop Goods Less Traveled to San Diego County neighborhoods through the development and operation of certified farmers' markets and artisan markets.  Our goal is to create vibrant community gathering spaces and provide opportunities for micro-entrepreneurs, farmers, artisans and local residents.

 

To us, markets are about bringing together people and building community through local fresh food and handcrafted textiles.  We hope you will join our family as a vendor or customer.
